Because home should feel like home
I’m Sequoia, a real estate agent serving Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the greater surrounding metro area.
I got into real estate because I care about people having stability and options. Housing shapes so much of our lives, and I believe the process should feel understandable instead of intimidating. My role is to help you make sense of what’s happening, talk through your choices, and support you as you move through big decisions.
As a Black, queer, trans masculine, neurodivergent person, my lived experience shapes how I show up in this work. I understand that systems are not always built with everyone in mind, and that perspective influences how I educate, communicate, and advocate for my clients. My goal is to help make the process feel more accessible and less overwhelming.
I work with buyers and sellers at many different stages of life. Some people are purchasing their first home. Others are selling because life shifted, their needs changed, or they’re ready for something new. Wherever you are in that process, I focus on meeting you there and moving at a pace that feels right for you.
I spend a lot of time educating my clients and breaking things down in plain language. You’ll always know what the next step is and why it matters. I believe good communication builds trust, and trust is what makes a real estate experience feel steady instead of stressful.
When you work with me, you can expect honesty, follow through, and someone who takes your goals seriously. My job isn’t just to help you close on a home. It’s to make sure you feel confident about the decisions you’re making along the way.

REVIEWS
I got burned by my last realtor due to being transgender. I sought out Sequoia specifically because they were also transgender. Admittedly, that’s not a great way to select a realtor, but I wanted someone who wouldn’t drop me suddenly after learning that I was transgender. But I genuinely couldn’t have picked better. Sequoia does a good job of balancing professionalism with a casual, down-to-earth nature. They’re present and able to answer questions. They understand people with chronic illness and needing to build up energy to do tasks. They try to explain concepts and situations in plain terms. I made some goofs on my own - I didn’t shop around for a lender. I’ve never needed to shop around – I always went through my bank, and it was a smooth experience. Sequoia kind of saved the day multiple times with their vast knowledge of quality businesses. First, by suggesting good loan brokers, and I’m very happy with the one I ended up with. Then, I didn’t expect the inspection window to happen so soon or to be so short. Sequoia had a list for that, and my inspection experience was much smoother than expected. They helped me narrow my contingencies to very reasonable asks. Honestly, Sequoia’s suggestions and recommendations really helped the process happen a lot smoother. Sequoia and my loan broker did say it also happened because I really did my part to stay on top of things and got them everything I needed. It’s a team effort. You as a buyer can be on top of your side of things, but if your homebuying team isn’t also on top of things, you can’t have a smooth purchase. In all, if I ever need to buy or sell a property, Sequoia will be top of my list.
